Grace’s Garden | New Zealand Garden Photographer
"A beautiful heart can bring things into your life that all the money in the world couldn't obtain" - Dau Voire
This quote reminds me so much of Grace. I could not imagine a more beautiful lady, both inside and out. Being Jim (my boyfriend)'s mom, she is always there for us.
I was trying to think of a wee way to repay her for all she does….so I took a few flicks of her gorgeous garden.
…and a few more….
then made them into postcards :)
If you are interested in something similar, let me know - I would love to hear from you!
Have a great weekend!!

Glenn & Kristen | Central Alberta Couple Photographer
I would like to start off by saying these are NOT engagement photos (haha). This is the second time I have taken photos for Glenn & Kristen (known to us by Doc & Dong) and they have been asked numerous times if they were engaged after the first set of photos. We wanted to make it clear that they are not engaged…..yet ;) .
You cannot help but feel the love they share for one and other, as well as their friends and family.
There is just something so magical about winter photos, I cannot get enough of them!
Sometimes bad roads are worth great photos!

The Schneiders | Central Alberta Family Photographer
Having to squeeze photos in between hunting and an antique auction, I had the pleasure of taking one of my favourite family's photos this weekend. I don't think there is a time we have visited and haven't left with a smile on our faces. They are the type of people that will always be there for you no matter what, and truly are an inspiration to us and many others!! I cannot wait until Randi moves out here & can join wine Wednesday, Buck Lake edition!!
I guess the down side to having family photos in Movember is the terrible facial hair!! (haha)
Happy Camel Day!

I have been taking photos (regularly) now for almost a year…and LOVE it. It is funny to think that a year ago I was the girl who couldn't be bothered taking pictures, or I was just too busy to think of it! Having travelled a bit, my dad would often tease me saying I would take one photo for every country I had been.
SO WHY? Why and where did I begin?
After my dad passed away in October 2012, I really realized the value of a photo. My mom and dad had travelled to New Zealand, where I had been travelling & living for 8 months. Dad was the typical tourist taking photos on his iPad!! As embarrassing as it may have been, words cannot describ ...
