I have said it before, but it is often the in between, unposed moments that I love the most. What an amazing day, to see my friend this happy gives me goosebumps. What makes it better? It was on a day she married an incredible guy.
I am truly blessed to have the friends I do. Their wedding day was amazing. I could tell once we arrived on Friday that everything would be perfect, and if it wasn’t nobody would be stressed. It was lovely to meet both of their families and see how close & accommodating they all are. I am sure Jim is sick of hearing me say I want a wedding just like theirs!
One of my favourite parts of the wedding was the location: Bryan & Kendra’s first home. How cool is that? AND what a beauty of a spot they have!
The ceremony was perfect and I think the smiles on their faces say it all!! The wedding party were such troopers during photos, it was bloody hot out, but we were able to knock off photos without a complaint!
The reception was awesome! An amazing spread, including BURGERS (I love burgers….) was cooked for dinner by Sunterra Market. The first dance was great, but I have to say Kendra’s father’s dance moves may have stole the show 😉
I could not be happier with how the day went, and feel so honoured that they asked me to play such an important role in their day. We snuck away to take in the sunset (I would TOTALLY recommend doing this to everyone who is getting married). It allows for time to take in the day, each other, and relax a bit….. and the light is perfect at this time 🙂
I want to send out a HUGE thank you to my ASSISTANT (haha) Katie for all of her help through the day. She was such a life saver, and kept the mood light & things flowing. Also, Bryan’s family for cooking for us & Kendra’s family for being so accommodating. SUCH a great day / evening.
