“Let someone love you just the way you are – as flawed as you might be, as unnatractive as you sometimes feel, and as unaccomplished as you think you are. To believe that you must hide all the parts of you that are broken, out of fear that someone else is incapable of loving what is less than perfect, is to believe that sunlight is incapable of entering a broken window and illuminating a dark room.” – the things we say

I was super nervous for this session… not because of the couple, but because it was mostly shot indoors & that is definitely not my forte. It was so nice to be able to take the session slow & have such an understanding couple as I fumbled through settings (…or at least that is how I felt, especially with my T-rex arm!). Sometimes I feel like I struggle a bit with posing; these two made my job so easy. I think the reason it is easy for them is because they are comfortable with one and other. I absolutely fell in love with the images on the back of my camera & the 4 hour drive home was almost torture…I couldn’t wait to have them on my big screen. The rustic reds, and bright whites made such a lovely backdrop for her textured dress. The Roundhouse building is a stunning piece of history!

Gosh, I just love this session, it is definitely going to stick in my mind for quite some time. I’m not sure whether it was the love they share, the ease of being around them, the quiet atmosphere of the shoot, the location, or a combination of everything….but it gives me little goosebumps looking through the outcome.

I am currently booking 2016 weddings, and my weekends are quickly filling (which is crazy!)…. if you are interested, let me know – I would love to hear from you 🙂

Lovingly,

Ang
