My Why.

I have been taking photos (regularly) now for almost a year…and LOVE it. It is funny to think that a year ago I was the girl who couldn’t be bothered taking pictures, or I was just too busy to think of it! Having travelled a bit, my dad would often tease me saying I would take one photo for every country I had been.

SO WHY? Why and where did I begin?

After my dad passed away in October 2012, I really realized the value of a photo. My mom and dad had travelled to New Zealand, where I had been travelling & living for 8 months. Dad was the typical tourist taking photos on his iPad!! As embarrassing as it may have been, words cannot describe how thankful I now am for these photos. Dad passed away in New Zealand, and ever since I have been snapping photos.

Although not the best photos, I cherish each and every one I have with my dad.

I LOVE being able to give friends (and clients, soon to be friends) photos they will cherish.

Thank you all for the love and support!

I loved how these two laughed in almost every photo, and their love for one and other always effortlessly shown through. annnnnnnd right after this she almost ate the ring!!! (oooops!!) haha!!! All because two people fell in love. Gosh! Although this wedding was a wee while ago (SORRY, I have been the worst blogger), it seems like yesterday...& going through these photos makes me melt all over again. I have been speaking with these two for quite a while now and was looking forward to their wedding all season. What a fun group of people!! They decided to do a first look - it was beautiful. They are such a beautiful couple, both so excited to spend their lives together. The ceremony was in a beautiful spot do ...
