My Why.

I have been taking photos (regularly) now for almost a year…and LOVE it. It is funny to think that a year ago I was the girl who couldn’t be bothered taking pictures, or I was just too busy to think of it! Having travelled a bit, my dad would often tease me saying I would take one photo for every country I had been.

SO WHY? Why and where did I begin?

After my dad passed away in October 2012, I really realized the value of a photo. My mom and dad had travelled to New Zealand, where I had been travelling & living for 8 months. Dad was the typical tourist taking photos on his iPad!! As embarrassing as it may have been, words cannot describe how thankful I now am for these photos. Dad passed away in New Zealand, and ever since I have been snapping photos.

Although not the best photos, I cherish each and every one I have with my dad.

I LOVE being able to give friends (and clients, soon to be friends) photos they will cherish.

Thank you all for the love and support!

"Cowboy take me away." - Dixie Chicks Where do I begin with this day?! Gosh. It makes me emotional every time I think about it. From the moment we pulled into the ceremony, we had goosebumps. My second shooter, Rand, and I have known Tatum since we were babies. She is the most down to earth, thoughtful & kind person you will ever meet....not too mention loads of fun!! It is very cool to see her having found her soulmate. Kale is one big teddy bear! SUCH a great guy!! Being that they are both very involved in rodeo, it was very suiting that they got married in her parents' arena! CHEERS, to a wicked friends' wedding, all of those who ...

"The more I learn, the more excited I get." - Johnny Cash (thank you to Randi & Aurora Images for the photos) GOOD morning, everyone!! I have been getting quite a few enquiries lately about photography & the basics of the DSLR camera...so I decided to host a course!! 2 years ago, I attended a course held by Meg Courntey & that is when I really got my start. I was so thankful for having the basics put into terms I could understand. This was great, because it is super easy to get bogged down online looking up different aspects of your camera & photography in general! I of course know that I still have so much to learn, but I wo ...

Love is by nature fragile. That's what makes true love so powerful. It is that you've made a fragile thing unbreakable. - atticus Have I mentioned that I have the most adventurous couples? ...and I LOVE it. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't SUPER corporative at our original location...so we hiked down to the bottom of a frozen waterfall instead! These two were great. I am so thankful they trusted me to capture the bond they share & I am loving that I have an immediate connection with every client from my 2016 weddings. I know I say it too often, but people in love make my job so easy. I still have a few weekends left this summer/fal ...
