Vintage Winter Styled Shoot | Alberta Wedding Photographer

“Let’s do what we love & do a lot of it.” – Marc Jacobs

“A group of local vendors showcased their talents in this vintage-themed winter shoot. They chose a deep, vibrant color scheme to pop against the backdrop of a winter wonderland. The models dressed in vintage garb with accents of warm color to mimic the props. This same deep red was incorporated into the floral arrangements and table settings. The creatives behind the shoot set fire to the vintage inspiration, resulting in a unique flare. “We loved working together and could not be more pleased with how our first styled shoot together turned out,” said photographer Angela Brzus.
Many overlook winter weddings because of the cold weather and drab settings that often accompany them, but in this shoot, the crew hoped to emphasize the warm, unique feel that this magical season provides. We say, “mission accomplished.” ” – Rocky Mountain Bride
I consider myself very lucky to know such a talented group of vendors (&friends) in such a small area. Make sure to show them all some love…

A Return Ticket & Realization
A few weeks ago, I saw a quote that resinated with me. - "We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone." (I immediately pinned it & added it to my website...haha!) It brought me back to my "why". I have been taking photos professionally for about two and a half years now. Prior to this my dad used to tease me about not taking any. I have no idea why I didn't, maybe I was too busy or caught in the moment at a particular was two and a half years ago that dad passed, and ever since then I have regretted the moments I did not capture. We spent quite a few days together (with mom) in New Zealand & I would hassle h ...
Kale & Tatum | Central Alberta Wedding Photographer
"Cowboy take me away." - Dixie Chicks Where do I begin with this day?! Gosh. It makes me emotional every time I think about it. From the moment we pulled into the ceremony, we had goosebumps. My second shooter, Rand, and I have known Tatum since we were babies. She is the most down to earth, thoughtful & kind person you will ever meet....not too mention loads of fun!! It is very cool to see her having found her soulmate. Kale is one big teddy bear! SUCH a great guy!! Being that they are both very involved in rodeo, it was very suiting that they got married in her parents' arena! CHEERS, to a wicked friends' wedding, all of those who ...
Adam & Leah | Kananaskis Engagement Session
It is often said that the happiest people are the most beautiful. I can honestly say that the love & happiness throughout these two's session radiated & made for lots of fun. I have known Leah for years, having played on a ball team ages ago together in Calgary. Her and her family took me in & I often refer to them as my Calgary family. When Leah first started dating Adam, I knew something was up. She is unapologetically herself around him & could not stop smiling. I am so stoked to see a good friend happy & cannot wait for their wedding this fall! I literally wish I had a dollar for every time I have thought how ...
